Ilya Nodia is a Photography & CG Art Director based in Moscow, Russia. Interaction and collaboration with the best people in the visual industry allow him to participate in the most incredible commercial projects, to find the best visual solutions for advertising companies, organizations, and art projects.
- My path began in 2008 with photography. I chose the way of exhausting practice and improve my technical skills every day through personal projects, private photoshoots, and weddings, which helped me become a responsible professional by managing my schedule, quality of service, personal approach to each client, and reputation.
I have always been attracted to advertising prints and posters by their complexity and a lot of nuances, from technical photography and retouching to interaction with really serious clients. In 2012, I made the decision to move to Moscow and get into big advertising.
From 2014 to 2017 I worked as a lead photographer in the escape game franchise “Claustophobia”. The creation of advertising photos for every project for this company brought me success in the commercial photography industry. Made more than 120 projects shooting for Claustrophobia in different countries around the world.
In 2015, I was invited to the representation agency Fun’Da’Mental, which I still cooperate with.
From 2016 to 2018 are a huge number of commercial advertising projects, movie posters, performances, and theaters in collaboration with BBDO Moscow, Leo Burnette, Fetish Film, Hype Production, and others.
From 2018 to 2019, I officially worked in the U.S. for WLA Entertainment Inc., where I shoot projects in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. After a lot of experience of entertainment/VR projects and personal projects in the U.S., I returned to Moscow.
In 2019-2021 I worked as a photography and video art director in WayRay AG.
Now, working with several design and visualization studios in Russia I continue to work actively directing advertising projects in photography and CG, as well as taking part in ambitious artistic projects.
